Our client’s brief for this project was to establish a stronger link to the West facing garden by means of a sunroom. The only existing direct access to the well maintained garden was through the sitting room while the kitchen exited to the side of the house.
The answer was to build a light filled and spacious sunroom with floor to ceiling glazing which could be accessed via the kitchen and the sitting room. The kitchen was re-modelled to provide a link with the garden through the sunroom and also to harmonise the interior finishes.
Outside the garden area was extensively hard landscaped and all existing planting was relocated.
