On this project Churchfield were approached by architects Design Strategies to wrap this 1950s house and newly built extension in external insulation. It is a fine example of how traditional features such as brick and timber cladding can be replicated with external insulation and the material runs seamlessly from original house onto the modern extension at the rear of the property. Walls achieved a U-Value of 0.27 W/m2K.
